Sessions will take place at various locations serving the homeless in Toronto, such as shelters and drop-in centres.  They will take place at regularly scheduled times in order to be predictable for program participants, similar to other programs they participate in regularly, such as meal drop-ins.

A volunteer facilitator will arrive in advance of the scheduled time, set up the equipment, and lead the participants through collaborative jam sessions, open mic sessions where an individual or individuals play for the rest of the group, or a combination of the two, depending on the wishes of participants.

Other than promoting the Harmonies for Hope session to its community members as making a suitable space available, there is no work to be done by the organization hosting the session.
